Rosehaven Alpacas is proud to announce that it has been awarded an American Graphic Design Award for excellence in communication and design. The award proves that the alpaca business is not only hi-end livestock, but hi-end design as well.
The 2006 American Graphic Design Awards, which are sponsored by Graphic Design USA, the monthly business-to-business magazine for professional graphic designers and related creative and production professionals, honors new, outstanding graphic design, advertising art and marketing communications created by American graphic designers and art directors.
“This is a very exciting honor for us and a historic day for the alpaca industry and for our clients.” said Susan Muther, BreedWorks founder and Creative Director. “This award shows that alpaca breeders know good design!”
The competition is open to everyone in the community: advertising agencies, design firms, corporate, institutional and publishing in-house departments, and more. It honors outstanding new work of all kinds: print, packaging, point-of-purchase, internet, interactive and motion graphics.
Now in its 26th year, American Graphic Design’s competition is among the most prestigious and selective, as only 10% of its thousands of entries are honored.
This year’s competition produced a record breaking number of entries.
The American Graphic Design Awards is one of the oldest and most respected competitions in the design/marketing field. Call for entries is issued mid year with the winners announced and published the following year. The winning Rosehaven Alpacas logo will be published in the 2006 hard cover annual, available at book stores worldwide.
This year marked a decidedly tough competition with the sheer number of entries and a noticeable difference in the overall quality of the entries received.
